As soon it is announced, the anticipation for Love Saves The Day is set to levels of high, each year surpassing the previous and 2018 is no exception. The Bristol festival, which takes place in the lush surroundings of Eastville Park is now in its seventh year and for so many, it is the event that properly kicks off festival season. This years event takes place on Saturday 26th May and Sunday 27th May and as with previous years, features an unmissable bill.
With headliners Fatboy Slim (Saturday) and Sampha (Sunday) bringing the party vibes on the main stage, ably supported by the likes of Loyle Carner, Bicep, George Fitzgerald, Raye and a special set by David Rodigan & The Outlook Orchestra.
While previous years have seen the Saturday predominantly featuring a more house & techno orientated bill and Sunday a more bass heavy bill, this years festival features a more varied style of genres on both days with artists as diverse as Krept & Konan, Digital Mystikz, Hot Since 82, the Shy Fx Soundsytem, The Black Madonna, Four Tet, Shadow Demon Coalition, Pinch going back to back with Joker, Eva Lazarus, Gerd Janson and Mungos Hi-Fi appearing over the weekend. It’s a bill especially catered to for lovers of all forms of dance music and the vibe at Love Saves The Day is unreal.
With stage takeovers hosted by Hold Tight, Crack, The Blast, Futureboogie, Knee Deep In Sound and Percolate, you know the atmosphere is going to be amazing and add to that further stages headed up by Andy C, Jackmaster, Artwork and Horse Meat Disco with acts to be confirmed later in the month and it really is the place to be at the end of May.
