The first major festival highlight of the year is almost upon us once again. Love Saves The Day has definitely become something of a Bristol mainstay with the festival attracting revellers and ravers from the across the country eager to take in the Love Saves The Day vibe and this years event held on Saturday the 26th of May and Sunday the 27th of May, the sixth time it has been held, will certainly keep up the tradition of an amazing bank holiday weekend in the throes of Eastville Park. Last years event which featured brilliant performance from Dizzee Rascal, Hot Chip, Ben Klock,  Stormzy, Hudson Mohawke and Goldie amongst many others was an amazing time and this years event looks even better.


The Saturday is headlined on the main stage by Little Dragon, who have just released their brilliant new album Season High and the material they unleash from that and their back catalogue will be one of the highlights of the summer for sure, providing eclectic support on the festivals biggest stage will be Mura Masa, Nao, Crazy P, Fatima Yahama, Elder Island and Bonzai.

Other not to be missed acts across the Saturday include The Cloud 9 stage which hosts a lineup of house and all its offshoots headed up by Jamie Jones with Waze & Odyssey, PBR  Streetgang and Catz N Dogz while the Arcadia Afterburner features a stellar cast of Ricardo Villalobos, Peverelist & Hodge and Craig Richards and Gutterfunk hosting the Dance Off stage with head honcho DJ Die featuring alongside Zed Bias & Trigga, Addison Groove and Dismantle. Add in sets on other stages by Andrew Wetherall, Bicep, Artwork, Move D and so many others and you have a Saturday that can’t be missed, not that anybody would!

The Sunday at Love Saves The Day is just as unmissable with more of a focus across the board on drum & bass, grime and bass music in general but with plenty of variation across all the stages to keep everyone happy.

The long awaited return of Fat Freddy’s Drop headline the Main Stage alongside Kate Tempest, d&b don Shy FX, Nadia Rose, Eva Lazarus and AJ Tracey.

Fresh off the success of his last album Made In The Manor, Kano will undoubtedly tear up The Blast curated Cloud 9 stage alongside My Nu Leng, TQD, D Double E, Levelz & Trigga and Toddla T & Coco while the Arcadia Afterburner hosts a serious selection of drum & bass and jungles finest with Hype b2b Hazard, Friction, Randall b2b 4Hero (playing a special Reinforced set) and Dimension tearing it up all day.

Badbadnotgood, Novelist, Jessy Lanza, Mykonos’s Blanco and special guest Stefflon Don head up the Paradiso Stage while the Hold Tight hosted Brouhaha stage features a top notch bass lineup with Sherwood & Pinch, Egoless & Killa P, Numa Crew and Vivek & Dego not be missed. Elsewhere the Sunday will feature Heartless Crew, DJ Zinc, Clipz and Klose One.

Along with all the musical goodness, there is sos much going on and with new areas on the site, it will be a dream come true for seasoned Love Saves The Dayers and newbies alike.
