GRM Daily Premiere – Eazyman ‘Workrate’

It’s been a long time coming but Grime music finally seems to be getting the acknowledgement and most importantly respect that it deserves. From Stormzy broadcast over every social media platform and radio station, to female DJ’s pushing the scene forward and reducing the gender divide, to iTunes finally including Grime as a subgenre and Skepta being the first Grime artist to walk away with a Mercury Prize in fourteen years (the last recipient being Dizzee, for ‘Boy In The Corner’) it’s undeniable that Grime is on the rise.

And with that rise brings a plethora of new possibilities for undiscovered or on the rise artists, one of which being Grime MC Eazyman. Since dropping his ‘Block Party’ single in December last year another exclusive release through GRM Daily, Eazyman has gone from strength to strength, now landing himself a release on Go Getter Music. Premiered exclusively on GRM Daily once again, ‘Workrate’ is a lyrical insight on how Eazyman has got to where he is now, with testament to his ‘early bird’ technique. Organic, stripped back bars are complimented with story-like visuals, depicting the determination to succeed in his quest for ‘six figures’ and the struggles surrounding being an up and coming Grime artist. A tasteful production far removed from the once stereotypical view of Grime, ‘Workrate’ is available exclusively through GRM Daily today.
